Designed to extract well as a ristretto, a normal or a lungo with minimal or no change in grind level at a fixed dosage. The filters are matched to a total square area of +/- 5% to ensure identical performance. (Typical variances of standard filters vary from 50-200% of the nominal open square area) On all VST filters 1 year warranty on DEFECTS. The micro openings are manufactured using a new micro machine and finishing process. 100% of the holes are measured on each filter for min. /max area and diameter range limits with an accuracy of +/- 20 µm. (Individual QC report is supplied with each filter) All holes are measured for roundness, placement, square area and blocked holes The hole pattern is centered up to +/- 1.0 mm and the placement is oriented for even suction over the entire puck. The anti-wear design ensures uniform performance over the life of the product. Improved structural integrity, resistant to pumping cycle deflection without premature fatigue failure.
